What data we publish
Section titled “What data we publish”For each mentor, and only with their explicit consent (Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR, since the listing shows membership in a religious community):
- first name and last-name initial (unless the mentor asks for more),
- program, level, degree and semester,
- languages spoken, topics they can help with, and an optional short bio,
- only the contact options the mentor chose to publish.
Sign-up form
Section titled “Sign-up form”When you sign up as a mentor on this site, your answers are sent to a private GitHub repository (GitHub, Inc.) that only the IHG admins can see. An admin reviews them and publishes your profile. If a sign-up is rejected, the admins delete it.
Withdrawing consent
Section titled “Withdrawing consent”Mentors can withdraw consent at any time. We then remove the profile from the site with the next update, normally within a few days.
Visitors
Section titled “Visitors”This site is a static website. It uses no cookies, no analytics and no tracking, and fonts are hosted on the site itself. Your browser only stores your chosen color theme locally.
The hosting provider may process technical data such as IP addresses in server logs. The site is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. (Cloudflare Pages), which acts as a processor. See the Cloudflare privacy policy.
Your rights
Section titled “Your rights”You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and to lodge a complaint with a data-protection supervisory authority (in Saarland: Unabhängiges Datenschutzzentrum Saarland).
